The Town of Cary is pleased to announce the 2013-14 Marvelous Music Series, which provides Cary with six incredible evenings of entertainment! As always, this season showcases a variety of nationally acclaimed touring artists as well as a sampling of new and emerging talent. Obtain your season ticket subscription for the year by choosing between five or all six first-class performances. Kicking off the season is The Gibson Brothers—the most impeccably fine-sounding traditional bluegrass band on the music scene today. Next up is, Dallas Brass—from classical to patriotic, from Dixieland to Swing, from Broadway to Hollywood, Dallas Brass has it all. In January you're in for a treat with the appropriately named Glenn Miller Orchestra who will play tribute to the music of the beloved Jazzman, Glenn Miller. In February, Emile Pandolfi will delight you with lush piano arrangements, popular standards, Broadway hits, and his trademark quips of humor. The Fantasticks, the world's longest running production, is slated for March. You and your family will be moved by this timeless fable of music, love, and laughter. Finally, rounding out the season is Grammy Award winning jazz vocalist, Diane Schuur.
