East Regional Library invites you to its 9th annual Moonlight Walk: Stories Under the Stars on Thursday, October 10 between 6-8 p.m. The Moonlight Walk is a free family event featuring storytellers Ron Jones and Obakunle Akinlana.

  Audiences will enjoy traditional folktales, African instruments, a puppet show, and a walk through an indoor enchanted forest! Don't forget to stroll through the Knightdale Environmental Trail behind the library where families will listen and participate in well loved children's story. Afterwards, families are encouraged to continue sharing stories by selecting library books to take home to read together.

  Children must be accompanied by an adult. There will be continuous walks around the trail starting at 6 p.m. Bring your own flashlights. Wear clothing appropriate for an evening walk  Strollers welcome. Sorry, no pets. Event is rain or shine. In case of inclement weather, all events will be inside the library.
